What is a Giclée Print?

Giclée, pronounced ”Zhee-Clay”, was developed as a digital alternative to lithographic reproduction.

A Giclée Print is an individually printed, high-resolution image made using a state-of-the-art digital printer and printing onto specially treated canvas, which produces an archival quality image. Photographs printed using this process have brilliant velvety colors, yet retain crisp contrasts and sharp details.

Marion Milton’s photographic images are printed on canvas, and then stretched over stretcher bars. There is no need for extra framing or glass.
